Tate Modern Hotels
Located on the south bank of the Thames and housed in what was once Battersea Power Station, the Tate Modern is Britain's foremost gallery of international modern art. It also holds the distinction of being the most-visited modern art gallery in the world, with around 4.7 million visitors per year.
The Tate Modern’s collections comprise works of international modern art dating from 1900 onwards. The Tate Collection is on display on levels three and five of the building, while level four houses large temporary exhibitions. The vast Turbine Hall, which once housed the electricity generators of the old power station, is used to display large specially-commissioned works by contemporary artists between October and March each year.
